Sizing Kits

The new Legend sizing kits are now available in 45, 50, WHITE 504, 52 and 54 calibers. 5 bullets are contained in each sizing kit, allowing you to determine the best fit for the barrel of your muzzleloading firearm. You will visually be able to verify the difference in sizes as the nose of the bullet is stamped with the number  that coincides with the size of the bullet.  For example, the sizing kit will contain 5 bullets stamped 0-4.  For 45 caliber, 0 would be equivalent to .450, 1 would be .451, 2 would be .452, 3 would be .453, and 4 would be .454.  You will want to begin with the smallest bullet in the sizing kit and it will also be first to come out of the kit you receive.  The bullets will also be in increasing order as they are removed from the package.  You will want to find the correct fit for the barrel of your muzzleloader.  Having the properly sized bullet makes a substantial difference in the ability to load efficiently as well as shoot safely.  An undersized bullet can move off the powder charge.  30 pounds of force during loading is recommended.  If you happen to have a muzzleloader that requires more than .004 over caliber we will work to find a solution.
